{"id":233274,"date":"2025-10-30T03:34:29","date_gmt":"2025-10-30T03:34:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/233274\/"},"modified":"2025-10-30T03:34:29","modified_gmt":"2025-10-30T03:34:29","slug":"bradford-bulls-re-sign-international-forward-as-wingers-exit-confirmed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/233274\/","title":{"rendered":"Bradford Bulls re-sign international forward as winger&#8217;s exit confirmed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img width=\"2400\" height=\"1600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/ES019579.jpg\" class=\"attachment- size- wp-post-image\" alt=\"\" decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"high\"  \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>Bradford Bulls are busy shaping their squad for their return to Super League with one piece of retention and another player exiting the club.<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019ve already been busy in the transfer market with a number of new faces signing to the West Yorkshire club, many of whom have either signed from Super League clubs or have Super League experience.<\/p>\n<p>Andy Ackers has arrived from Leeds Rhinos, Rowan Milnes from Hull KR, Ethan Ryan from Oldham, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seriousaboutrl.com\/rugby-league-news-bradford-bulls-swoop-for-another-super-league-star-as-salford-red-devils-man-signs-109710\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jayden Nikorima from Salford Red Devils<\/a>, but the club have now turned their mind to retaining players.<\/p>\n<p>The club have confirmed that \u2018rising star\u2019 Jamie Gill has signed a new two-year deal after progressing through the club\u2019s academy and debuting in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Still only 20, Gill is a prop forward who already has international experience have debuted for Ireland in 2024 when they faced the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>He spent most of 2025 out on loan with Newcastle Thunder and Dewsbury Rams before making his Bradford debut against Featherstone in September.<\/p>\n<p>Bradford Bulls re-sign rising star forward<\/p>\n<p>His re-signing is something the Bulls are excited about with head coach Kurt Haggerty explaining that the club see Gill as a future Super League player.<\/p>\n<p>Haggerty said: \u201cJamie is a player where we can clearly see there\u2019s a potential Super League player in there, he just needs to be in a full-time environment to see him blossom.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s a big boy with a good strength of carry so we\u2019re looking forward to seeing how he can progress and if he can turn into a future Super League player.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On his new deal, Gill reacted: \u201cI am really happy to be staying and moving full-time with the club into Super League.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHaving got a taste of playing in the first team against Featherstone I am looking forward to getting back in training, learning from my team mates to continue developing and pushing my stake for a place in the side next year\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bradford have also seen another of their young talents leave the club with Baily Tait, a former Huddersfield Giants academy player, leaving and signing with Goole Vikings for 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Tait scored 20 tries in 22 games for the Giants at academy level before adding three in seven for the Bulls\u2019 reserve side but he\u2019s now sought out an opportunity for increased playing time, with Goole signing him up.<\/p>\n<p>The 19-year-old said: \u201cThe club has shown it\u2019s willing to give young players a chance, which really excited me, but it\u2019s down to me now to put the hard work in during pre-season and show the coaching staff I\u2019m ready.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Head coach Scott Taylor said: \u201cLike a number of our new signings, Baily comes with one eye on the future. He comes with some good recommendations, and we like his honest, hard working approach.
