Jonathan Ross<\/a> has revealed the reason why his legendary Halloween party has been cancelled this year.<\/p>\n

The chat show host shared the news following his appearance on The Celebrity Traitors<\/a>, where he became the first Traitor to be caught out.<\/p>\n

While speaking to Ed Gamble on a bonus episode of The Traitors<\/a>: Uncloaked podcast, Jonathan explained that his famous bash at his Hampstead home won\u2019t be happening this Halloween.<\/p>\n

While opening up about which celebrities he grew particularly close to while filming The Celebrity Traitors, he shared: \u201cJoe Marler \u2014 I met him a couple times and had him on my show a couple times and he was invited to my parties on Halloween, when I was still doing them.\u201d<\/p>\n

After listing off several fellow contestants that Jonathan also got to know better on the reality show, Ed quipped: \u201cThe main thing I took from that, Jonathan, is that you\u2019re not doing your Halloween parties anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, I\u2019m afraid not,\u201d Jonathan replied. \u201cI might do another one before I go, but they cost a fortune.\u201d He went on to admit that the growing popularity of the event had made it difficult to manage.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause we became such a well-known event, every time I did something people would be like, \u2018Are you doing a Halloween party?\u2019\u201d he explained. \u201cOf the adults I invited, I only genuinely knew 30% of them. And the others \u2014 I liked them all, but I didn\u2019t know them.\u201d<\/p>\n

For years, Jonathan\u2019s Halloween parties were a staple of the celebrity calendar. The annual event, which he held at his north London home, was famous for its A-list guest list and their outlandish costumes.<\/p>\n

Stars like Dame Joan Collins, Claudia Schiffer, Nicole Scherzinger<\/a>, Alan Carr, and David Walliams<\/a> were among the regulars who flocked to the spooky soir\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

In what turned out to be his final house party in 2019, the event was as star-studded as ever. Scarlett Moffatt dressed as Edina from Absolutely Fabulous, while Judge Rinder channelled Anne Boleyn, and David Walliams showed up as Dr Evil, complete with a fluffy white cat.<\/p>\n

The COVID-19 pandemic brought the parties to a halt in 2020, and they remained on pause for another year as Jonathan\u2019s daughter Betty battled fibromyalgia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In 2022, he brought the festivities back, but in a different way. Rather than hosting at his Hampstead home, the TV star moved the party to Camden\u2019s KOKO nightclub.<\/p>\n

Last year, however, Jonathan brought the Halloween spirit back home, but not in the same way as before. Instead of a celebrity guest list, he shifted his focus to local trick-or-treaters.<\/p>\n

His house was transformed into a spooky wonderland complete with red lighting, creepy performers, and giant props, including a terrifying clown display.<\/p>\n

Now, in 2025, it seems Jonathan is ready to close the lid on his Halloween hosting days. The Mirror<\/a> has contacted Jonathan’s publicity team for comment.<\/p>\n
