Lily Allen<\/a> has admitted that she flew 6,000 miles just to “hook up” with a celebrity.<\/p>\n

The singer said that she travelled all the way to Japan in a “meticulously planned” set of events. The 40-year-old <\/a>has said that she has gone to great lengths to meet up with her crushes more than once.<\/p>\n

This comes as Lily released her fifth studio album West End Girl last week after splitting from Stranger Things actor David Harbour.<\/p>\n

The record is based on her previous marriage after Lily found out that the actor had been having an affair for three years. The album has been sitting at the top of the UK iTunes chart and has been streamed over eight million times.<\/p>\n

Lily has now spoken in a Q&A with Interview Magazine<\/a> where Lily was asked by a reader “what is the best way to hook up with a celebrity?”<\/p>\n

She said that she has overcome this before by looking up the celebrity in question’s touring schedule so she could make sure to be at the same festival as him. She confessed that she flew 6,000 miles to find the man she wanted to hook up with.<\/p>\n

Lily said: “Well, I’ve only done this a couple of times and it’s been quite meticulously planned. You have to kind of find yourself in a place where the celebrity thinks that they are discovering you, not the other way around.<\/p>\n

“There was a particular celebrity that I was really after romantically and I looked at his touring schedule and he was going to be in Japan.<\/p>\n

“So I made sure that I was at this festival and that I would be one of the very few English-speaking people at the same festival as him, which I guess made me interesting. Actually, both my celebrity hookups have been in Japan, but different celebrities.”<\/p>\n

Lily didn’t reveal who they celebs in question were but in her 2018 autobiography, My Thoughts Exactly, she spoke about joining the mile high club with Liam Gallagher<\/a> while on a flight to Japan in 2009.<\/p>\n

The musical pair met on the plane as they were both on their way to the Fuji Rock Festival when they proceeded to get “hammered” together and have sex in the toilets.<\/p>\n

In the chapter of her book, Lily said they then went back to his hotel together after one thing led to another. She wrote: “When we landed in Tokyo, Liam said, in his distinctive nasal twang, ‘What you doing now? Why don’t you come back to our hotel.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, OK’.<\/p>\n

“We got hammered on the plane. At some point Liam and I found ourselves together in the toilet doing something that he shouldn’t have been doing, and it wasn’t drugs.”<\/p>\n
