Sarah Ferguson<\/a> has reportedly been left out in the cold after Buckingham Palace<\/a> announced last night Andrew<\/a> will be stripped of his royal<\/a> style, titles, honours and move out of Royal Lodg<\/a>e. This means Fergie will be forced to fend for herself and make new living arrangements.<\/p>\n

In an unprecedented move announced on Thursday, the Palace stated that the former Duke of York would now be known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and would be required to vacate Royal Lodge, his long-time Windsor residence worth a whopping \u00a330 million.<\/a> The decision marks the final step in King Charles\u2019s efforts to distance the monarchy from ongoing controversies surrounding his younger brother, 65.<\/p>\n

Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, have shared Royal Lodge since 2008, despite divorcing in 1996.<\/p>\n

The pair have long maintained what many viewed as a modern royal arrangement, continuing to share Royal Lodge while co-parenting their daughters, Princess Beatrice<\/a> and Princess Eugenie<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, with Andrew\u2019s lease revoked and his royal privileges removed, it is understood that Sarah, 66, will also have to move out.<\/p>\n

The former Duchess of York, who officially lost her title earlier this month, is reportedly seeking private accommodation after almost 20 years at the Windsor residence.<\/p>\n

Buckingham Palace confirmed that formal notice had been issued for Andrew to surrender his lease and \u201cmove to alternative private accommodation.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement also reiterated the King\u2019s<\/a> support for \u201cthe victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse,\u201d signalling a decisive shift within the monarchy.<\/p>\n

Following the move, Sarah Ferguson is reportedly searching for a new home after the King\u2019s decision to have the pair vacate the 30-bedroom Royal Lodge.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice<\/a> and Princess Eugenie<\/a> will retain their titles despite their father being stripped of his own following the bombshell Palace announcement.<\/p>\n

Under King George V\u2019s 1917 Letters Patent, the right to princely titles extends to the monarch\u2019s children and male-line grandchildren.<\/p>\n
