Gregg Wallace<\/a> has uttered just four words in response to his MasterChef<\/a> co-star John Torode<\/a>\u2019s sacking from the BBC<\/a> programme. Breaking down in tears in a new interview with The Sun, the shamed presenter insisted he is \u201cnot a wrong\u2019un\u201d or a \u201csex pest\u201d \u2013 and finally responded to John Torode\u2019s sacking over using a \u201cracist\u201d term.<\/p>\n

An allegation surfaced of Torode using \u201can extremely offensive racist term\u201d, leading to his sacking from the show. Wallace was also sacked after 45 out of 83 allegations against him were upheld, including one of groping a woman.<\/p>\n

But speaking about the allegations against Torode, he said: \u201cHe\u2019s not a racist. I\u2019ve known John for 30 years.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd as evidence of that, I\u2019ll show you the incredible diversity of the people that he has championed, MasterChef winners, over the years. There is no way that man is a \u00adracist.<\/a> No way. And my sympathies go out to John because I don\u2019t want anybody to go through what I\u2019ve been through.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later, he explained: \u201cWe never really did get on that well.<\/a> We\u2019re two very, very different characters. But we made bloody good telly together for 20 years.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gregg said his own incidence of \u201cgroping\u201d was 15 years ago while he was \u201cdrunk at a party\u201d, claiming he had his \u201chand on a girl\u2019s bum\u201d. He told The Sun that he was \u201cdating but not married\u201d at the time and thought the pair had been \u201cflirting\u201d after she gave him her phone number.<\/p>\n

And one of the other allegations upheld was of him parading around the BBC studio wearing a sock on his penis<\/a>. He clarified: \u201cThat was 18 years ago. The studio is shut, there\u2019s no contestants.\u201d<\/p>\n

He claims he wore a bow tie and a shirt, along with covering his penis with the sock, and opened the door to four of his friends, \u201cwent \u2018Wahey!\u2019 and shut the door again\u201d.
