{"id":236289,"date":"2025-10-31T17:04:07","date_gmt":"2025-10-31T17:04:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/236289\/"},"modified":"2025-10-31T17:04:07","modified_gmt":"2025-10-31T17:04:07","slug":"save-ben-solo-movie-stunts-meetup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/236289\/","title":{"rendered":"Save Ben Solo Movie Stunts, Meetup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ever since the news of a failed Ben Solo movie surfaced, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/star-wars\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Star Wars<\/a> fans have been campaigning to save the project.<\/p>\n<p>What are fans doing to save the Star Wars: Ben Solo movie?<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/adam-driver\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Adam Driver<\/a>, who played <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/kylo-ren\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Kylo Ren<\/a> in three Star Wars movies, revealed that he teamed with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/steven-Soderbergh\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Steven Soderbergh<\/a> to develop a Ben Solo movie. Driver and Soderbergh pitched the film as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/the-hunt-for-ben-solo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">The Hunt for Ben Solo<\/a>, but Disney executives Bob Iger and Alan Bergman quickly dismissed the idea.<\/p>\n<p>Since Driver revealed that pitch, Star Wars fans have started raising awareness for the Ben Solo movie to drum up interest and convince Disney to resurrect the project.<\/p>\n<p>Missing persons posters for Ben Solo have appeared in New York City. A billboard in Times Square urged fans to believe that Ben Solo is still alive. Plus, a plane flew over Disney Studios in California with a banner reading: \u201cSave #TheHuntForBenSolo\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fans have also created a <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/view\/thehuntforbensolo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">website<\/a> dedicated to saving The Hunt for Ben Solo. The site\u2019s banner reads: \u201cWhether you are a fan of the original trilogy, prequels, sequels, expanded universe, reylo, or just a casual fan, we come together to persuade Disney to green-light The Hunt for Ben Solo.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On the website, there is a petition with over 5,000 signatures and a call to action, asking fans to write letters to Disney about the Ben Solo movie.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/view\/thehuntforbensolo\/home\/jtr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">meet-up<\/a> is scheduled for November 8, where Star Wars fans plan to gather outside Disney Studios in California and Disney HQ in New York City.<\/p>\n<p>Driver last played Kylo Ren\/Ben Solo in 2019\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/star-wars\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">The Rise of Skywalker<\/a>. In that movie, Ben dies after resurrecting Rey.
