Charlie Sheen clarified his recent comments about hooking up with men<\/a> in the height of his drug addiction<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The actor explained on the \u201cIn Depth with Graham Bensinger\u201d podcast<\/a> Wednesday that sex is a \u201cbroad category,\u201d claiming his encounters weren\u2019t as \u201cgraphic\u201d as some may assume.<\/p>\n

The Golden Globe winner noted that those watching his \u201caka Charlie Sheen\u201d documentary<\/a> last month may have \u201cimmediately\u201d thought of intercourse when they heard his confession.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want to be like, \u2018OK, I did this thing, but this and that part of it didn\u2019t happen.\u2019 But it didn\u2019t,\u201d the \u201cTwo and a Half Men\u201d alum insisted. \u201cI don\u2019t know that that matters.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sheen doubled down on the hookups not being \u201cfull-fledged.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cThey say you experiment in college, you know? I never went to college, so maybe that explains it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Emmy nominee spoke to People in September about how \u201cf\u2013king liberating\u201d it felt to speak transparently about \u201cflip[ping] the menu over\u201d in his past.<\/p>\n

\u201cA train didn\u2019t come through the side of the restaurant,\u201d he said of making his admissions publicly. \u201cA f\u2013king piano didn\u2019t fall out of the sky. No one ran into the room and shot me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sheen, additionally, set the record straight on \u201cwhat started\u201d him hooking up with men \u2014 his crack addiction.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s where it was born, or sparked,\u201d the \u201cPlatoon\u201d star recalled to the outlet. \u201cAnd in whatever chunks of time that I was off the pipe, [I was] trying to navigate that, trying to come to terms with it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sheen remembered asking himself, \u201cWhere did that come from? \u2026 Why did that happen?\u201d<\/p>\n

Eventually, however, he decided to adopt a \u201cso what?\u201d mentality about the experience since \u201clife goes on.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Golden Globe winner detailed the encounters in the \u201caka Charlie Sheen\u201d documentary and the \u201cBook of Sheen\u201d memoir.<\/p>\n

He quipped, \u201cSome of it was weird. A lot of it was f\u2013king fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sheen, who contracted HIV<\/a> and went public with his diagnosis in 2015, spilled numerous secrets<\/a> in both his documentary and his memoir, \u201cThe Book of Sheen.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n
