Eddie Hearn<\/a> has admitted that one heavyweight contender could give anyone in the division a hard night\u2019s work.<\/p>\n

It is a time of great change in the sport\u2019s top division. The men who have ruled it for the last decade or so \u2013 Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua \u2013 are all close to the end of their careers, while current two-time undisputed ruler Oleksandr Usyk is likely only to fight once or twice more given his age and what he has already achieved.<\/p>\n

That means there is room for new stars to emerge and take over the division, with Britain well stacked with talents like Fabio Wardley and Moses Itauma.<\/p>\n

However, speaking to iFL TV<\/a>, Hearn has given flowers to the larger-than-life controversial American Jarrell Miller.<\/p>\n

\u201cI got to be honest with you. I think Jarrell Miller is a problem for the heavyweights out there. If I didn\u2019t have the history that I have with Jarrell Miller I would have signed him five years ago. I think he\u2019s a massive character and personality, a very tough guy to beat when he\u2019s fit, and I think he can seriously fight.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hearn and Miller, 37, have a history that dates back to June 2019 when \u2018Big Baby\u2019 was set to fight Joshua on his American debut but failed a drug test late in the day so the fight was canned<\/a>. Andy Ruiz stepped in and scored a historic upset win while Miller served his ban.<\/p>\n

He has been caught again since then and fought just five times, losing by stoppage to Dubois and drawing with Ruiz in August 2024 before pulling out of a 2025 with Wardley due to injury.
