A family-owned food manufacturer from Huntsville\u00a0is making waves in the culinary world with its signature garlic sauce and a growing lineup of gourmet products.<\/p>\n
Andrew\u00a0Allen is\u00a0with Muskoka Brand Gourmet<\/a>, a local food manufacturer out of the “adventure capital of Ontario” due to its natural environment and natural resources.\u00a0<\/p>\n But it’s getting a growing reputation for food.<\/p>\n The company\u00a0mainly specializes in gourmet condiments such as\u00a0garlic sauce, hot sauces, jams, jellies, chutneys, and infused oils.<\/p>\n Muskoka Brand Gourmet has been\u00a0in business since 1962 and relocated from Manitoulin Island in 2019 to Huntsville.<\/p>\n “We relocated due to a family member moving to the area to become a teacher. We were able to do our part of the business from anywhere, and\u00a0we still have the farm on Manitoulin\u00a0Island. We have a manufacturing facility in Huntsville\u00a0now, about 8,000 square feet, with seven\u00a0staff, depending on the time of the year.”<\/p>\n The\u00a0small family business prides itself on creating products that are handcrafted and made the old-fashioned way,\u00a0using top-choice Ontario produce and 40-year-old family recipes to create delicious products worthy of your home and table.\u00a0<\/p>\n “It tastes really good,” Allen says\u00a0enthusiastically.\u00a0“Our garlic sauce is our bread and butter, so to speak.
