Stellar British amateur standout Luke Prior made his pro debut a successful one at welterweight against Mexican Eduardo Vera Sanchez, despite failing to deliver the promised knockout. Referee Steve Gray scored about 40-36 for Prior, now 1-0. Vera falls to 2-13-2.<\/p>\n
20-Year-Old yorkshireman Brad Casey dropped Croatian Antonio Borovina twice in the first round, the second time saw referee John Latham reaching the full count at 1:06.
