Pollock\u2019s first rugby position?\u00a0Scrum-half. But a coach moved him after deciding he talked too much: \u201cYou\u2019ve got a big mouth, we\u2019ll put you at seven.\u201d The rest is history.<\/p>\n
9. A Saint since his early teens<\/p>\n
He\u2019s been part of the\u00a0Northampton Saints set-up since under-13s\u00a0and signed his\u00a0first pro deal in 2023. A one-club man so far \u2013 and a key part of their future.<\/p>\n
10. Made his mark in the Premiership and Europe<\/p>\n
Pollock made his\u00a0Prem debut\u00a0in\u00a0November 2023\u00a0against\u00a0Leicester Tigers, followed by his\u00a0Champions Cup debutagainst\u00a0Castres\u00a0in\u00a0December 2024.<\/p>\n
11. Dominated the U20s<\/p>\n
During the\u00a02024 Six Nations U20s, Pollock picked up\u00a0three Player of the Match awards\u00a0and was later crowned\u00a0Player of the Tournament. Total domination.<\/p>\n
12. He stepped up for England A<\/p>\n
Pollock continued to impress with\u00a0England A, earning\u00a0Player of the Match\u00a0in their\u00a0win over Australia A\u00a0in\u00a0November 2024.<\/p>\n

Though now firmly an England man, Pollock was also eligible for\u00a0Scotland, with\u00a0both parents born north of the border.<\/p>\n

Growing up, Pollock looked up to\u00a0Michael Hooper\u00a0and\u00a0Richie McCaw. Closer to home, former Saints legends\u00a0Courtney Lawes\u00a0and\u00a0Teimana Harrison\u00a0also shaped his game.<\/p>\n
