Jannik Sinner<\/a> clawed closer to Carlos Alcaraz<\/a> in their Big Titles battle on Sunday when he won the Rolex Paris Masters<\/a> title.<\/p>\n The Italian defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime<\/a> for the trophy to claim his first ATP Masters 1000 crown of the season. He now owns 10 Big Titles \u2014 a combination of Grand Slam championships, trophies at the\u00a0Nitto ATP Finals<\/a>\u00a0and ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, and Olympic singles gold medals.<\/p>\n Sinner now trails Alcaraz by just four Big titles. The Spaniard has earned five such trophies in 2025 \u2014 three Masters 1000 titles and two major triumphs \u2014 to three for the Italian. It is also the second straight year he has earned at least three Big Titles, after winning six in 2024.<\/p>\n The new No. 1 player in the PIF ATP Rankings is now tied with Daniil Medvedev<\/a> for the fourth-most Masters 1000 titles among active players with six. Only Novak Djokovic<\/a> (40), Alcaraz (8) and Alexander Zverev<\/a> (7) own more of the prestigious trophies.<\/p>\n Sinner has won a Big Title for every 6.3 tournaments he has played in his career. Only Djokovic (3.3), Rafael Nadal<\/a>\u00a0(3.5), Alcaraz (3.9),\u00a0Roger Federer<\/a>\u00a0(4.4),\u00a0Pete Sampras<\/a>\u00a0(4.9) and\u00a0Andre Agassi<\/a>\u00a0(6.1) have won the events at a higher rate.<\/p>\n
