A murder investigation has been launched and a woman arrested after a man died in a suspected stabbing.<\/p>\n
Castle Road in Chatham was cordoned off by police following the incident at 10.12am yesterday.<\/p>\n

Paramedics were called to the scene, but the victim – who was in his 40s – died as they tried to treat him. Police say he had injuries \u201cconsistent with stab wounds\u201d.<\/p>\n
Officers have arrested a 45-year-old woman in connection with the incident, who remains in custody.<\/p>\n
A police spokesman added: \u201cInvestigators are appealing to any witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police to contact them.<\/p>\n
\u201cResidents with private CCTV and motorists with dashcam are also asked to check for relevant footage.<\/p>\n

Witnesses reported seeing multiple police cars at the scene as well as a forensic team yesterday.<\/p>\n
One, who did not wish to be named, told KentOnline: \u201cThe road has been shut to all traffic and pedestrians between Victoria Road and Reform Road, including the junction with Listmas Road.<\/p>\n
