Buncrana Golf Club are urging players to be more considerate after one of the course\u2019s greens was damaged recently.<\/p>\n
The damage was caused recently to the playing surface on the fourth hole\u2019s green, and the club has made a public appeal to stem a recent trend in damage being caused to the Buncrana course in recent times.<\/p>\n
\u201cSadly, once again we have to bring to everyone\u2019s attention, some damage that has been caused to the course. This time the damage has taken place on the fourth green. Two large divots were taken out of the green,\u201d the club said after the incident on Friday.<\/p>\n
They went on to say that anyone who has been found to be the culprit of damage discovered to the course will have their club membership suspended and a ban handed out.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe would just like to reiterate, that anyone, be it a member or a visitor to the course, who is found responsible for this type of wanton action, will have their membership suspended and will be banned from the course.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cAnyone with any information on this or any previous act of damage, we would be delighted to hear from you.\u201d<\/p>\n
