Manchester United prospect Ethan Williams is making impressive progress on loan at Falkirk.<\/p>\n

Ethan Williams<\/a> was one of Manchester United\u2019s winners in preseason<\/a> after he scored in a 4-1 win over Bournemouth<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It was a great way for the teenager to announce himself<\/a> and make a statement<\/a> to Ruben Amorim<\/a> that he was able to contribute.<\/p>\n

However, with no European football this season, his game time was always going to be limited and it was decided that a loan move was in Williams\u2019 best interests.<\/p>\n

Williams signed on loan with Scottish Premiership side Falkirk<\/a>, who rank in fifth place, level on points with Rangers.<\/p>\n

Ethan Williams had already made a positive start to life on loan at Falkirk, providing two assists in a game<\/a> against Hibernian in late September. It was just his second game for the club, and first start.<\/p>\n

Williams has retained his place in the team ever since, and had his best game yet for the club this past weekend.<\/p>\n

The Manchester United loanee scored one goal and provided an assist to lead Falkirk to a 3-1 victory over Kilmarnock.<\/p>\n

Williams got onto the end of a through ball before rounding the goalkeeper and passing it into the net. It was a perfectly executed and confident way to score his first ever professional goal.<\/p>\n

The 19-year-old\u2019s assist might have been ever better.<\/p>\n

Falkirk\u2019s match report noted<\/a>: \u201cBrian Graham\u2019s flick on found the feet of Williams who would then find Calvin Miller with a wonderful defence splitting pass.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2018Frightening\u2019 ability<\/p>\n

Speaking post-game, Falkirk\u2019s manager John McGlynn praised the ability of the three attackers who played behind the striker, with Ethan Williams starting on the left wing.<\/p>\n

McGlynn told the Falkirk Herald<\/a>: \u201cThese three guys in behind Ross MacIver, the ability and pace is frightening.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cIt\u2019s as good a 45 minutes that I\u2019ve witnessed from one of my teams in a hell of a long time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Williams will be fully focused on Falkirk right now, but he will also be getting ongoing support and contact from Manchester United.<\/p>\n
