The purse is a massive upgrade to Norman\u2019s previous career high purse of $650,000 for his fight earlier this year against Derrieck Cuevas on March 29 in Las Vegas. Norman Jr. (28-0, 22 KOs) annihilated the heavy-handed Puerto Rican Cuevas (27-2-1, 19 KOs) in a third-round knockout.<\/p>\n
Last year, Norman Jr. had rejected a $1.7 million offer to face then IBF welterweight champion Jaron \u2018Boots\u2019 Ennis in a unification fight during their negotiations in August and September 2024.
