Horselunges, the former home of Led Zeppelin manager Peter Grant, is struggling to sell after more than two years on the market despite dropping its asking price by a total of \u00a31.5 million.<\/p>\n

The large East Sussex house which can be seen at the start of \u201cThe Song Remains The Same\u201d was initially listed for sale in July 2023 with a \u00a34.5 million asking price<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The asking price was then dropped to \u00a33.25 million in June 2024<\/a>. It was also listed by a second estate agent.<\/p>\n

Now, the asking price dropped again to \u00a33 million on September 23, Rightmove shows<\/a>, \u00a31.5 million less than the original 2023 asking price.<\/p>\n

It appears that Tim Philips, another estate agent, is also now marketing the property after he posted a video and photographs of it online.<\/p>\n

Horselunges has been owned by the same family for more than 30 years after Grant sold the property around 1988 to Barry and Anna George. Following the sale, Grant lived in a flat above the house\u2019s garage before he moved to a flat in Eastbourne.<\/p>\n

Grant bought Horselunges around 1971, paying \u00a380,000 for the property and another \u00a310,000 for fixtures and fittings along with livestock and farm equipment. The house was purchased from Barbara Doxat, the widow of Edmund Doxat, according to Mark Blake\u2019s 2018 biography of Grant, \u201cBring It On Home\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cMrs Doxat had these stuffed animals and boars\u2019 heads,\u201d Grant\u2019s daughter Helen recalled in the 2018 book. \u201cHer husband had been a hunter, and a lot of bloody horrible stuff came with the house.\u201d<\/p>\n
