The first four participants in the tournament to determine the final WWE opponent of John Cena have been confirmed.<\/p>\n

Cena\u2019s retirement match will take place on December 13 at Saturday Night\u2019s Main Event in Washington, DC.<\/p>\n

On this past Saturday\u2019s edition of SNME from Salt Lake City, Utah, the method by which Cena\u2019s opponent will be decided was announced.<\/p>\n

There will be a 16-man tournament kicking off on next week\u2019s WWE Raw in Boston, Massachusetts, where Cena will make his next appearance.<\/p>\n

On tonight\u2019s Raw, the draw took place for the first two matches in the tournament with names being picked out of a tumbler.<\/p>\n

It was noted in the initial announcement that the participants in the tournament would be chosen \u201cat random.\u201d<\/p>\n

The four names drawn out of the tumbler were Rusev, Damian Priest<\/a>, Shinsuke Nakamura and Sheamus.<\/p>\n

Therefore, two of the eight first round matches in the tournament are Rusev vs Damian Priest, and Shinsuke Nakamura vs Sheamus.<\/p>\n

There are still 12 more names to be added to the tournament. Nick Aldis will draw the next two first round matches on SmackDown this Friday.<\/p>\n

The announcement specifically said that the tournament would feature stars from Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and even faces from outside of WWE.<\/p>\n
