A crash described as a “serious collision” prompted the closure of a stretch of the M6 in the early hours of Tuesday. Motorists have been warned the southbound carriageway between junctions 12 and 13 is likely to remain shut for “several hours”.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Following reports of the crash, involving a truck and a van, emergency services, including Staffordshire Police and West Midlands Ambulance, rushed to the scene to provide support. The traffic delays were worsened by the temporary closure due to works of a stretch of the motorway from Junction 12 to 10A.\u00a0<\/p>\n
