\n For more than 18 years, The Sounds of Simon has delighted theatre audiences across the UK and the world with its reproduction of the award-winning harmonies of the duo, and will bring their show to the Allendale Community Centre on Saturday, November 29.\n<\/p>\n
\n Ben Bowden and Adam Ellis, who play the duo on stage, have been described by music writers as “the world\u2019s best Simon and Garfunkel tribute”.\n<\/p>\n

\n Ben, who started the tribute in 2006, said: \u201cI have always loved the music of Paul Simon.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Simon & Garfunkel\u2019s Greatest Hits was one of the cassettes my family would agree on in the car.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Paul is just the absolute business when it comes to song writing.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cNot a lyric out of place. It is a privilege to be able to play these songs each night.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n Adam, who plays Art Garfunkel on stage, joined in 2013 and enjoys the challenge of playing these songs.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cIt\u2019s great to take a songwriter as brilliant as Paul Simon and then show how a songwriter practises and develops his craft,” he said.\n<\/p>\n
