\n Actor and television presenter Robson Green is shown taking a hike across the Jurassic coast in his new series, The World\u2019s Most Amazing Walks.\n<\/p>\n
\n The U&Yesterday programme, which was released on October 27, takes viewers through some of the most sublime landscapes that the world has to offer, and puts the Dorset coastline on the same stage as the Normandy Beaches in France and Camino de Santiago, Spain.\n<\/p>\n
\n In March, films crews were spotted along the Cobb, where Robson Green was spotted on board a fishing boat and chatting with local chefs, that was thought to be filming for this series.\n<\/p>\n
\n In the sixth episode of the new show, which aired on October 27, the Extreme Fishing and Casualty actor starts in Monmouth Beach and ends in Old Harry Rocks, Purbeck.\n<\/p>\n
\n The colossal trek would take roughly a week to complete when walking from point to point.\n<\/p>\n
\n Lyme Regis\u2019 rich geological history is given centre stage in the 60-minute episode, where Green uncovers fossils and stops to admire the statue of Mary Anning that overlooks Lyme Bay.\n<\/p>\n

\n On hand with Geology Expert Dr Emma Cieslak-Jones, they discuss Anning’s impact on the area, describing her as a \u2018revolutionary\u2019 figure.\n<\/p>\n
\n Dr Cieslak-Jones says to Green: \u201cThe things she found at a time when everything was against her, and it didn\u2019t stop her. She kept going with every roadblock.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cHer discoveries were spectacular.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n The actor then later moves further east to Kimmeridge and visits the Etches Collection Museum that showcases prehistoric findings from the coastline.\n<\/p>\n
\n Green has made several travel series with hits such as the BBC’s Weekend Escapes series where he is joined by celebrities\u00a0as he explores the north east of England.\n<\/p>\n
\n He has also presented Channel 5’s Walking Coast to Coast show where he walks 84 miles along Hadrian’s Wall.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\n Lyme Regis is becoming increasingly popular as a location for films and Tv shows over the years, which has highlighted the stunning coastline and helped with tourism in the area.\n<\/p>\n
