A country pub has once again been severely damaged due to flooding.<\/p>\n
Parts of the Cresselly Arms, located in the Carmarthenshire village of Pontargothi, in Wales, have been left underwater after heavy rainfall<\/a> battered the area on Monday and Tuesday.<\/p>\n As reported by Wales Online<\/a>, flood water often makes its way inside the building, which is situated right next to the River Cothi.<\/p>\n Parts of the pub were left waist-deep in water following torrential rain which fell during Storm Bert<\/a> last November.<\/p>\n It was also badly hit by flooding in Storm Dennis back in 2018 – and the same thing happened again on Tuesday, amid fears the issue could worsen if the weather does not improve in the coming days.<\/p>\n \u201cI came in early this morning and the river was very high and water was starting to come in but in the last hour or so it\u2019s just gone crazy,\u201d said co-owner John Davison on Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n \u201cOut of the three windows in the restaurant bits of trees have smashed through two of them.\u201d<\/p>\n The pub, which would normally be open on a Tuesday afternoon, had to shut and a clean-up operation will need to get under way once the rain eases up.<\/p>\n![\"Fire](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/3_RH041125Cresselly_02.jpg\")
