Erickson (27-3, 19 KOs) is challenging Ortiz Jr. (23-0, 21 KOs) for his interim belt at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. He says he\u2019s going to \u201cmess up those plans\u201d for an Ortiz Jr. vs. Ennis fight next.<\/p>\n
Many fans view this fight as a mismatch in favor of the 27-year-old Ortiz Jr. He\u2019s fighting at a high level right now, and he looks hard to beat by anyone other than Jaron Ennis. However, Lubin is catching Vergil Jr. at the perfect time, with him coming off back-to-back tough battles against Israil Madrimov and Serhii Bochuk. He came close to losing both of those fights.<\/p>\n
