Dougie\u2019s Goodies has featured on the food delivery app\u2019s top 31 trending orders in the UK with their iced layer cake sold from their Belfast branch on Fountain Street. <\/p>\n

The business opened the Belfast store last year<\/a> serving the likes of apple tarts, boxes of fifteens, and hot and cold drinks, with delivery also available. <\/p>\n

Deliveroo said Dougie\u2019s Goodies ranked eighth on the UK-wide list, alongside major brands including Wagamama, Dishoom, Wholefoods and Wingstop.<\/p>\n

It also revealed what the most popular orders were for Oasis fans after one of their Croke Park gigs in the summer, and what attendees at the All-Ireland football final fancied post-game.<\/p>\n

In the hour after 10.30pm on August 16, many Oasis fans leaving the stadium picked up a spice bag from Xian Street Food \u2013 a staple of nights out in Ireland. <\/p>\n

Whopper meals from Burger King and chicken doner wraps from Reyna were also popular. <\/p>\n

Disappointed Donegal fans leaving Croke Park after their All-Ireland final defeat to Kerry on July 27 were among those finding solace in a Boojum bowl, which was one of the most popular dishes ordered after the event.<\/p>\n

A cheeseburger from Bunsen was also in demand, alongside a spice bag meal deal from Xian and the simple pleasure of chips from Orchid.<\/p>\n

Boojum also featured on the list, with a build-your-own burrito from the Belfast-founded chain\u2019s location in Leeds coming in at 10th.<\/p>\n

The top trending item this year was the classic bagel from the famous Papo\u2019s Bagels in London.<\/p>\n

Deliveroo also declared Ireland to be the \u201cburger capital of the world\u201d, with a dash double smash from Dublin-based Dash Burger placing fifth on the worldwide top 100 trending list, alongside 13 other Irish dishes.<\/p>\n
