{"id":249355,"date":"2025-11-07T13:19:08","date_gmt":"2025-11-07T13:19:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/249355\/"},"modified":"2025-11-07T13:19:08","modified_gmt":"2025-11-07T13:19:08","slug":"hunted-dorset-friends-captured-on-channel-4-show","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/249355\/","title":{"rendered":"Hunted: Dorset friends captured on Channel 4 show"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  Friends Andrew Frampton, 51, and Robin Goodfellow, 37, from Beaminster and Netherbury, made it to the final few contestants and evaded capture on this year\u2019s Channel 4 series.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The two, who have been friends for years and work in the agricultural industry, relied on their farming connections to fall off the grid, and played the hunters \u2018on their own turf\u2019.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Sadly, their time on the show came to an end as they attempted to split from each other to double their chances of evading capture.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The show started with 14 fugitives who had to avoid being caught for 21 days, to win a share of the \u00a3100,000 jackpot.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Dairy farmer Andrew Frampton was hours away from making it to three weeks on the run, before he was picked up on his way to the extraction point \u2013 the end location of the game.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  As previously reported, in episode six, the two parted ways without telling each other their game plan, before comically ending up reuniting at Southampton train station.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Shortly after, Robin was captured after an intense chase at Birmingham New Street station, while Andrew stayed on the train.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\" alt=\"Robin and Andrew in Series 8 of Hunted\"\/>Robin and Andrew in Series 8 of Hunted (Image: Robin Goodfellow)\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  In a call back to Hunted HQ, Former Detective Superintendent of Thames Valley Police, Ray Howard, who leads the pseudo operation said: \u201cI think it is fair to say that you have done far better than we anticipated at the start.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  In his exit from the show, Robin said one of the highlights had been the adventure of every day, and spending time with his good friend, who he met at a young farmers disco when he was six.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cI have loved spending time with my mate Andrew. He\u2019s the best, he\u2019s a laugh a minute.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cI\u2019m bloody proud of him,&#8221; he said.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Andrew, who described himself as the \u2018tinman\u2019 due to his double hip replacement, went on to evade capture for another episode.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  In the end he was hours away from winning a share of the prize money.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  He returned to Dorset after a family member picked him up from Birmingham, and in another tense moment, hunters chased Andrew within metres of his home, as he hid at a neighbouring farm.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Unfortunately, on the way to Bromley and the prize money, his time on the show came to an abrupt end.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Upon capture, Andrew said: \u201cPeople didn\u2019t think I would get very far but I made it to within three hours of extraction.
