The 2026 Grammy Award<\/a> nominations are being announced today in a live-streamed event presented by some of the biggest names in pop. <\/p>\n Among the artists booked to announce the nominees are Sabrina Carpenter<\/a>, rapper Doechii, Lizzo, Mumford & Sons, Gayle King, Sam Smith, Jon Batiste, and last year\u2019s Best New Artist winner, Chappell Roan.<\/p>\n Only recordings commercially released in the US between 31 August 2024 to 30 August 2025 are deemed eligible, meaning Taylor Swift\u2019s The Life of a Showgirl won\u2019t be showing up in any of the categories.<\/p>\n Albums you might see, however, include Carpenter\u2019s Man\u2019s Best Friend, released on 29 August this year, along with Lady Gaga<\/a>\u2019s Mayhem, Bad Bunny\u2019s Deb\u00ed Tirar M\u00e1s Fotos and Kendrick Lamar\u2019s GNX.<\/p>\n Breakthrough British star Olivia Dean<\/a> is widely hoped to land a spot in next year\u2019s Best New Artist category, thanks to the huge success of her single \u201cMan I Need\u201d, which recently reached the top 10 the Billboard Hot 100.
