Tyson Fury<\/a> has been retired since January, but that doesn\u2019t stop the boxing world from hoping he will return.<\/p>\n

\u2018The Gypsy King\u2019 decided to walk away from the sport back in January<\/a>, just a few weeks after his second consecutive loss to Oleksandr Usyk.<\/p>\n

The first fight between the two was back in May 2024 with the rematch in December, and both ended in points defeats for Fury, who had been a long-reigning WBC champion until he came up against the great Ukrainian.<\/p>\n

It had been hoped after that defeat that Fury would agree to fight Anthony Joshua, who himself was left without a belt when he was knocked out by Daniel Dubois in September 2024.<\/p>\n

Despite it being nearly a year since Fury last competed, speculation has continued about a potential comeback, and speaking to BoxNation,<\/a> his manager Spencer Brown was asked if Fury will ever return to the ring.<\/p>\n

\u201cIs he coming back? Look, Tyson\u2019s got an itch he probably wants to scratch. Is he coming back? I don\u2019t know, we won\u2019t know. All I can say is he\u2019s been offered fights. He\u2019s turned everything down at the moment.<\/p>\n

\u201cTyson\u2019s Tyson. All of a sudden, tomorrow, he might say I\u2019m fighting again or he might say I\u2019m never fighting again. That\u2019s Tyson, that\u2019s why we love him. He\u2019s this mystery figure. Would I like to see him come back? Yeah, for selfish personal reasons.\u201d<\/p>\n

There is still a desire to see the fight between Joshua and Fury, although Fury has also spoken of his interest in a third fight with Usyk in 2026.<\/p>\n
