Netflix unveiled what really happened to a young Will Byers at the start of the series.<\/p>\n

Stranger Things is returning for a final outing, with fans getting a sneak peek at the first five minutes of season five.<\/p>\n

Netflix<\/a> unveiled the exhilarating video on November 7, which featured numerous jump scares and disturbing moments.<\/p>\n

The clip showed Will Byers (played by Noah Schnapp) during his early encounter with a Demogorgon, as he fought desperately for his life.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, he was unable to defend himself and fans saw it was Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) who was ultimately behind his capture.<\/p>\n

As Vecna took control of a vulnerable Will’s body, he told the youngster the pair would do “beautiful things together”.<\/p>\n

A tentacle was seen going inside Will’s mouth as Vecna showed the extent of his power.<\/p>\n

Fans could not help but feel heartbroken for Will, who has been through hell and back since the series started.<\/p>\n

They took to Reddit<\/a> to share their thoughts on the first five minutes, with IFSismyjam saying: “That scene where Vecna touched Will\u2019s face as the tentacle went down his throat was seriously unsettling.”<\/p>\n

Stephyloowho added: “Poor baby was running for his life! That was a super intense intro to season five, but I love that they brought it right back to season one.”<\/p>\n

Justbreathe91 shared: “Ewww tf was he putting into Will\u2019s mouth?!”<\/p>\n

Nastia_dream commented: “Just watched it. Damn this traumatised me. I knew Will’s time in UD was bad, but not this bad.<\/p>\n

“Also that scene with him jumping off to another tree was one of the most beautiful scenes I’ve seen in a TV show.”<\/p>\n

Miserable-Dream7047 concluded: “The imagery is disturbing, but I am sooooooo excited. And Will, damn, what a survivor he is.”<\/p>\n

Fans will have to wait and see whether there is justice for Will before the series comes to an end.<\/p>\n
