The US band, fronted by former Nirvana drummer <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/whats-on\/reviews\/dave-grohls-the-storyteller-its-21903644\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Dave Grohl<\/a>, are known for huge rock anthems such as &#8216;All My Life,&#8217; &#8216;The Pretender,&#8217; &#8216;Best Of You&#8217; and &#8216;My Hero&#8217; and their incredible live performances.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">They <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/whats-on\/whats-on-news\/foo-fighters-issue-liverpool-update-32842692\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">sent fans into a frenzy<\/a> on Sunday, November 9 after <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/whats-on\/\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Gigs and Tours<\/a> posted a picture of the seats at <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/liverpool-fc\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Liverpool FC&#8217;s stadium<\/a> emblazoned with the &#8220;FF&#8221; initials. The band further fuelled speculation after sharing the post to their Instagram story.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">Foo Fighters confirmed that they will perform at the home of the Liverpool FC next summer on Thursday, June 25 and Saturday, June 27 2026. It will be the first time Dave Grohl has performed in Liverpool since 2008, when he joined Paul McCartney on <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/liverpool-fc\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">stage during his headline performance.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">The current Foo Fighters lineup is Dave Grohl (vocals, guitar), Nate Mendel (bass), Pat Smear (guitar), Chris Shiflett (guitar), Rami Jaffee (keyboards), and Ilan Rubin (drums).
