Team Cherry has today deployed its fourth Hollow Knight: Silksong<\/a> post-launch patch for PC, with PS5 and PS4 players gaining access “soon”. This new update provides another round of bug fixes as well as the official implementation of a fan mod offering a Simplified Chinese language translation.<\/p>\n

Done by Team Cart Fix, this adds the language translation to the game as an offical option for all players. “Their translation builds from elements of the original Silksong translation, retaining existing names for most characters and places, except in instances where the original translation was incorrect, or inconsistent with Hollow Knight,” explained Team Cherry.<\/p>\n

It continued: “Most importantly, this is a translation by fans who are well-versed in the (quite dense) narrative and lore of both Hollow Knight games, and understand the subtle links and connections that should be retained in the text.” On the PS5 and PS4, this patch will go live “in the coming week”.<\/p>\n

\nUpdated Multibinder’s initial bind to clear maggots, per community comments.
\nWreath of Purity durability increased.
\nFixed void incorrectly conducting electricity.
\nGurr the Outcast trap-throw attack updated from single lob to spin-style, to reduce time spent static. Other slight refinements.
\nFixed Beast Crest fury slashes not piercing as intended.
\nFixed Rune Rage damage scaling incorrectly.
\nFixed Thread Storm damage tapering (additional hits don’t taper down as sharply).
\nFixed rare instances of regaining control when grabbed by a Wraith.
