Raheem Sterling has been the victim of another burglary and is understood to have been in the house with his family when the incident occurred.<\/p>\n
It is understood that the invasion took place last Saturday at the Chelsea<\/a> player\u2019s residence and involved masked men trying to break into the property. Sterling and his family escaped unharmed but it is the second time that the former England international\u2019s home has been targeted.<\/p>\n A spokesperson for Sterling said: \u201cWe can confirm that Raheem Sterling<\/a> was the victim of a home break-in this weekend. We can also confirm that he and his children were present at home at the time. Whilst the ultimate violation of privacy and safety, we are thankful to be able to confirm that he and his loved ones are all safe. We ask that the privacy of Raheem and his loved ones be respected at this challenging time.\u201d<\/p>\n Chelsea are aware of the incident and are supporting Sterling, while Thames Valley police has confirmed that it has launched an investigation into the break-in.<\/p>\n A spokesperson for the force said: \u201cOfficers are conducting a thorough investigation and ask anyone with information, or if they saw anyone in the area acting suspiciously, to contact police.\u201d<\/p>\n Sterling lives with his long-term partner Paige Milian and their children. The former Manchester City winger previously had to leave England\u2019s base in Qatar<\/a> at the 2022 World Cup after a burglary at his home.
