Pictures<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a busy day today in the world of \u201cDune\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>First up, Denis Villeneuve\u2019s \u201cDune: Part Three\u201d has seemingly wrapped filming with a photo of signage from what appears to be the wrap party going online (via <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/timotheenation\/status\/1988341500434923947\" rel=\"nofollow\">Timothee Nation<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Filming on the third film officially began back on July 8th, and the wrap comes just over four months later \u2013 that\u2019s inline with the first \u201cDune\u201d and about 2-3 weeks shorter than the second. <\/p>\n<p>The project now has thirteen months before release and will be in post-production throughout 2026.  Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet, Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Jason Momoa, Josh Brolin, Rebecca Ferguson, Anya Taylor-Joy and Robert Pattinson all star.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s not all though as HBO has announced that its TV spinoff series \u201cDune: Prophecy\u201d has officially started production on a second season.<\/p>\n<p>The episode order for the second run is increasing from six to eight, despite the mixed reviews the first season received.<\/p>\n<p>New cast members have also been announced including a trio of very familiar British faces \u2013 Indira Varma (\u201cGame of Thrones,\u201d \u201cObi-Wan Kenobi\u201d), Ashley Walters (\u201cAdolescence,\u201d \u201cMissing You\u201d) and Tom Hollander (\u201cThe White Lotus,\u201d \u201cThe Night Manager\u201d)<\/p>\n<p>Filming takes place in Hungary, Jordan and Spain with season one showrunner and executive producer Alison Schapker returning.
