{"id":258456,"date":"2025-11-12T11:00:33","date_gmt":"2025-11-12T11:00:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/258456\/"},"modified":"2025-11-12T11:00:33","modified_gmt":"2025-11-12T11:00:33","slug":"octopath-traveler-0-demo-now-available-for-switch-and-switch-2-save-data-carries-over","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/258456\/","title":{"rendered":"Octopath Traveler 0 Demo Now Available For Switch And Switch 2, Save Data Carries Over"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p>Alongside a new story trailer today, Square Enix has released an eShop demo for its upcoming Switch and Switch 2 release, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch-2\/octopath-traveler-0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Octopath Traveler 0<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This demo will allow you to experience the opening of the new game, including the first chapter of three different story arcs from the &#8220;Retribution story, as well as the first chapter of the &#8220;Restoration story&#8221; (or up to three hours of gameplay).<\/p>\n<p>Save data will also carry across to the full release when it arrives next month on 4th December 2025.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"scanlines\" title=\"Octopath Traveler 0\" href=\"https:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/3f24bc2675cee\/octopath-traveler-0.large.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/octopath-traveler-0.900x.jpg\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Octopath Traveler 0\"\/><\/a> Image: Square Enix<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s some extra information about what you can expect in the demo:<\/p>\n<p>The first thing you\u2019ll do is design your protagonist, and play through the explosive introduction to the game. You\u2019ll discover how a joyful town festival turns to tragedy, and how your hero embarks on a journey of restoration and revenge.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll set off after three antagonists, known as the Masters. Each of them has their own \u2018Master of\u2019 arc, and in the demo, you can play through the first chapter of each of them in any order you please.<\/p>\n<p>You can also play up to the end of the first chapter of the \u2018Kindlers of the Flame\u2019 story arc, which focuses on the restoration of Wishvale and the town-building features of the game. It\u2019s a great way to lay some strong foundations before you build the town of your dreams in the full game!<\/p>\n<p>You can play through all this content for up to three hours.
