Beta 3.3\u2019s changelog lists a fix for a lock-screen issue where devices could freeze or become unresponsive after waking.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-d6d28b36-21ae-4fcf-a8ec-2a3fedbffb74\" class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\" data-url=\"\" href=\"\" target=\"_blank\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\"\/>Squashes a major lock-screen freeze<\/p>\n<p id=\"bdbb8053-c988-4ccc-93b8-c3ff7e53af8f\">The bug (Issue #457527675) has caused random freezes that required users to restart their phones to fix, so many Pixel owners will be glad it\u2019s resolved. Earlier beta versions, such as <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.androidcentral.com\/apps-software\/android-os\/google-rolls-out-bootloader-fix-in-android-16-qpr2-beta-3-1\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.androidcentral.com\/apps-software\/android-os\/google-rolls-out-bootloader-fix-in-android-16-qpr2-beta-3-1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Android 16 Beta 3.1<\/a>, also fixed bootloop issues for Pixel users.<\/p>\n<p>As this is primarily a stability update with one critical bug fix, users shouldn\u2019t expect visual or functional overhauls.
