Clarien Bank<\/a> has launched Clarien Mastercard debit in Google Wallet today [Nov 10].<\/p>\n

A spokesperson said, \u201cBermudians will be able to tap and go without spending limits for the first time with the launch of Clarien Mastercard debit in Google Wallet.<\/p>\n

\u201cClarien Bank has partnered with global leaders Mastercard and Google Wallet so that customers can leave their wallets at home and make fast and secure payments using their Android smartphones.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnlike other banks in Bermuda, there\u2019s no spending cap so customers won\u2019t face embarrassment or disappointment at the till or need to carry your wallet as back up.<\/p>\n

\u201cCustomers can install Clarien Mastercard debit in Google Wallet by going to Play Store, searching Google Wallet.<\/p>\n

\u201cClarien Mastercard debit in Google Wallet can be used in store with contactless and to make online purchases through Google Pay.<\/p>\n

\nSelect payment card then debit or credit card.
\nAdd your card.
\nScan your card with your phone\u2019s camera or enter your card details manually.
\nAgree to the terms and conditions. You\u2019ll need to scroll all the way down until the button changes from\u202fMore\u202fto\u202fAccept.
\nChoose your preferred verification method.
\nImportant:\u202fDo NOT select the Text or SMS options \u2013 they do not work in Bermuda.
\nTap More options and select Email option.
\nWe\u2019ll email you a verification code.
\nEntered your code into the Wallet app.
\nOnce verified, your card will be added and ready to use.
