Trump International Scotland\u2019s new golf course has been named the best in the world.<\/p>\n

The course in Aberdeen, which officially opened earlier this year, was recognised at the World Golf Awards on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

As well as being recognised as the world\u2019s best, the location also scooped another two honours by being named as the World\u2019s Best Contribution to Golf Tourism Hospitality, and Europe\u2019s Best New Golf Course 2025.<\/p>\n

The awards, which are voted for by golf professionals, media and consumers worldwide, seek to \u201cacknowledge and celebrate excellence in the golf industry\u201d.<\/p>\n

US President Donald Trump said it was a \u201cgreat honour\u201d to receive the awards.<\/p>\n
