It will make people happy for a long time to come!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The New Course is the second at Trump International, one of 17 golf properties in the US President\u2019s portfolio, which also includes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityam.com\/the-majesty-of-turnberry\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Turnberry in Ayrshire<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Aberdeenshire venue was also awarded World\u2019s Best Contribution to Golf Tourism Hospitality and Europe\u2019s Best New Golf Course 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Tournaments staged at the venue this year include the Staysure PGA Seniors Championship and the DP World Nexo Championship.<\/p>\n<p>Trump honour could boost Turnberry Open bid<\/p>\n<p>It comes amid Trump\u2019s efforts to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityam.com\/turnberry-should-host-another-open-says-donald-trumps-son\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">bring the Open Championship back to Turnberry<\/a> for the first time since 2009, five years before he bought the esteemed resort.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis level of recognition from World Golf Awards is wonderful and acknowledges the great investment, vision and hard work of everyone who has contributed to our journey,\u201d said Trump International, Scotland executive vice president Sarah Malone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur entire ethos is the unrelenting pursuit of excellence \u2013 to build, maintain and operate truly awe-inspiring golf courses that will be enjoyed by many generations of golfers to come.
