Director Zack Snyder<\/a> has shared another DCEU<\/a> picture on Instagram, and this one comes with a mysterious caption.<\/p>\n

Snyder directed 2013\u2019s Man of Steel, the Superman movie starring Henry Cavill that was the first entry into the DCEU. After that, he went on to helm 2016\u2019s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice before tackling 2017\u2019s Justice League. Justice League had a troubled production that resulted in the release of Zack Snyder\u2019s Justice League<\/a> in 2020.<\/p>\n

What did Zack Snyder say in his new DCEU picture?<\/p>\n

In the past few weeks, Snyder has shared a handful of images of some of the characters in the now-defunct DCEU, including Cavill\u2019s Superman, Ben Affleck<\/a>\u2019s Batman<\/a>, and Jared Leto\u2019s Joker.<\/p>\n

Now, Snyder has posted<\/a> a new image of Affleck\u2019s Batman, though it curiously comes with the caption \u201cI\u2019m just getting started.\u201d The full post reads, \u201cThank you for 300,000 followers. It\u2019s been a fun six weeks on here, and I\u2019m just getting started. Shot this on my Leica Monochrom with a 50mm\u2014more to come.\u201d<\/p>\n

While it\u2019s entirely possible that Snyder is merely talking about his follower count and a plan to post more DCEU pictures, the timing of the post is odd, to say the least, as there have been conversations about Warner Bros. Discovery<\/a> potentially being sold to a studio like Paramount or Netflix<\/a>. While any deal is far from being complete, many Snyder fans have expressed their wishes for Netflix to continue Snyder\u2019s DCEU, should they become the owners of Warner Bros. Pictures<\/a>.<\/p>\n

All we know for now is that the DCEU ended with Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. Since then, James Gunn and Peter Safran have started their own DC<\/a> shared universe, the DCU<\/a>, that began with Creature Commandos and has since encompassed Superman and Peacemaker Season 2.<\/p>\n
