But it\u2019s also a personal project for Rosenblum, <a href=\"https:\/\/sf.eater.com\/restaurant-news\/208281\/super-mensch-opening-marina-restaurant-bar\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">who grew up with East Coast Jewish deli culture<\/a> and has long been inspired by institutions like <a href=\"https:\/\/go.skimresources.com\/?id=1025X1701644&amp;xs=1&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fkatzsdelicatessen.com%2F&amp;xcust=__et1114awD__208281__________________google.com\" rel=\"sponsored nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Katz\u2019s<\/a>. In fact, drawings of popular deli storefronts are hung on the walls throughout the space.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">Casual dates and friend meetups (the chocolate cake and the Super Mensch sandwich, which features a pound of pastrami, are easily split, as are the dips).<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">Don\u2019t be put off by the food-influenced cocktails like the Babka Old Fashioned and the Matzah Ball Soup Margarita. Diners are in good hands with managing partner and beverage director <a href=\"https:\/\/sf.eater.com\/2022\/11\/21\/23471727\/elmer-mejicanos-san-francisco-red-window-causwells\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Elmer Mejicanos<\/a>.
