A woman in her 80s has died after being struck by multiple vehicles on a carriageway near Devizes, Wiltshire.<\/p>\n
The collision occurred Friday, November 14 on the A361 Caen Hill.<\/p>\n
Police were alerted to the incident at 18:13 after a woman was struck by a vehicle near Mayenne Place.<\/p>\n
One vehicle stopped, but police say other drivers of vehicles may have unknowingly struck the woman.<\/p>\n
Sergeant James Barrett, from the Roads Policing Unit, said: \u201cThis is a tragic incident in which an elderly woman has lost her life, and our thoughts are with her family.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are urgently working to establish the full circumstances of the collision.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are also keen to speak with any witnesses or anyone who may have dash cam footage from that time.\u201d<\/p>\n
The road has been kept closed while police continue to investigate. No arrests have been made.<\/p>\n
