\n The station won Gold for Best Event Programming and Silver for Best Technical Achievement for their live broadcast from the Students\u2019 Union annual festival, SUBU Summer Ball.\n<\/p>\n
\n Led by last year\u2019s Station Manager Jacob Dyer, and Head of Digital Tech & Streaming Andrew Carter, the team delivered a 13-hour live broadcast from the festival site. They streamed a variety of performances and capturing the atmosphere of one of SUBU\u2019s biggest events of the year.\n<\/p>\n
\n Nerve Radio also received Silver for Best Station Branding and Bronze for Best Chart Show Programme.\n<\/p>\n
\n Jacob Dyer, Nerve Radio\u2019s Station Manager for 2024-25, was also awarded Bronze for Best Presenter, recognising his creativity and professionalism.\n<\/p>\n
\n Jacob said: \u201cWe\u2019re absolutely thrilled with these results. Our broadcast of SUBU\u2019s Summer Ball was one of our most ambitious projects, and to have it recognised nationally with a Gold award is amazing.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cI am unbelievably proud of every single person who has been involved with Nerve Radio and helped make this happen. We work incredibly hard, so to be recognised by experts in the industry with two Bronze, two Silver and a Gold award genuinely means the absolute world to us.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

\n More than 200 students and industry guests attended the awards the ceremony, including some of the biggest names in broadcast talent and senior management from public, commercial and independent networks, agencies and companies around the UK.\n<\/p>\n
\n Jeffery Ononiwu, Vice President of Student Opportunities at the Students\u2019 Union, said: \u201cA huge congratulations to everyone involved with Nerve Radio. This is another fantastic achievement for our student-led station and it\u2019s great to see them continuing to add to their growing collection of awards.\n<\/p>\n
