The three stars of “Nestflix” 2025, a high drama peregrine falcon livestream that has captured the hearts of tens of thousands of Australians, have finally taken their first flight.<\/p>\n
Over the course of three days, the three falcon chicks each spread their wings and soared over the Melbourne city skyline – albeit not without some hiccups.<\/p>\n
While two of the fledglings managed their take-offs with ease, one of the chicks made a valiant first attempt before crash-landing back on the ledge. Shaking off the initial disappointment, it later nailed a successful second try.<\/p>\n
According to BirdLife Australia, the chicks will stay close to the city over the next few weeks, relying on their parents for food until they are ready to take on the world by themselves.<\/p>\n
