\n The London Ambulance Service was called at 10.06\u202fam today (November 17) after reports of an explosion on Queens Road.\n<\/p>\n
\n An ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast-response car, and an incident response officer were sent to the scene.\n<\/p>\n
\n Paramedics from the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) were also dispatched.\n<\/p>\n
\n The man was treated at the scene for burns before being taken to hospital as a priority.\n<\/p>\n
\n Queens Road remains closed in both directions between Princes Road and A219 The Broadway, and bus route 200 is currently on a detour.\n<\/p>\n
\n A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: \u201cWe were called at 10.06am on Monday 17 November to reports of an explosion on Queens Road, Wimbledon.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cWe sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cWe also dispatched paramedics from our hazardous area response team (HART).\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cWe treated a man at the scene for burns and took him to hospital as a priority.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
