Israeli \u2013 and pro-occupation \u2013 \u2018actor\u2019 Gal Gadot\u2019s attempt to use Thatcher-era anti-union laws to prosecute eight anti-genocide activists<\/a> for protesting while she was filming in London has crashed and burned today when her case was thrown out and all charges dropped. This happened just over 24 hours before most of the activists were due to appear in court on these preposterous, trumped-up charges.<\/p>\n

Anika Zahir<\/a>, one of the protesters, commented on her Instagram account \u2013 posting that:<\/p>\n

Good news finally the case against myself and 7 other activists has been dropped.<\/p>\n

Gal Gadot is not just an actress she is a mouthpiece for the IgF [Israeli genocide force] and an active endorser of a genocide.<\/p>\n

The Met police pushed this case so that they could repress our right to protest even more.<\/p>\n

They all failed today. We won, the movement won!<\/p>\n

She accompanied her announcement with a joyful video of their protest at Gadot\u2019s filming location:<\/p>\n

For the protesters, this weaponisation of both the law and antisemitism has been devastating. Some have been suspended from work, others have seen a severe deterioration in their mental health \u2013 and all have had their names dragged through the mud. Cops and journalists have turned up at their houses \u2013 the latter after their addresses were doxxed by far-right Zionist lobby group Stop the Hate UK.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Zionist fanatic Gal Gadot\u2019s comments on Israel and its crimes in Gaza have included:<\/p>\n

Denouncing calls for a ceasefire
\nDeclaring<\/a> that everyone should side with Israel, because terrorism.
\nWhining that her Snow White film flopped because there is too much pressure on actors to condemn Israel<\/a> (and her co-star \u2013 no speech marks \u2013 did, tweeting Free Palestine<\/a> \u2013 and not because of her own support for genocidal Israel (and awful acting)).<\/p>\n

Israel has killed around 700,000 people<\/a> in just over two years of genocide in Gaza, overwhelmingly civilians and well over half of them children. It continues to bomb, shoot and starve<\/a> the surviving Palestinians of Gaza despite supposedly agreeing a \u2018ceasefire\u2019. Its advocates are now trying to whitewash its crimes by buying up social media and news companies<\/a> and pressuring other platforms to remove evidence, and even whole accounts<\/a>, that have exposed them since Israel escalated its genocide from October 2023.<\/p>\n
