He has two goals in the Champions League, but hasn’t reached the levels he showed during his best period at Chelsea.

Both Jackson and Chelsea will be pleased to hear that the German giants aren’t looking to cut his loan move short.

As Dean Jones revealed for TEAMTALK: “There has been no definite decision made yet on keeping him [past this season], and Jackson still has the situation in his own hands to some extent.”

“There have been some suggestions that he could leave Bayern in January, but that is not going to happen, from what I have been told. They will keep him for the season.”

For Jackson, it gives him the opportunity to change the minds of those in Munich, and Chelsea don’t need another striker in the dressing room this season, or in the future for that matter.

🚨 Nicolas Jackson: “I don’t focus on my 40 starts… I just want to do my best for Bayern”.

“As a player, you want to be where everyone wants you to be there. I’ve watched Bayern all my life. Kane has an argument for best player in the world this season, but at 32, he won’t be starting under Vincent Kompany forever. If Jackson impressed Bayern, he could be next in line for that mantle.

As it stands, Bayern haven’t seen enough to commit past the end of the season.

Nicolas Jackson’s loan move from Chelsea to Bayern Munich hasn’t been a resounding success.
