While Eviden calls it an “AI Factory” covering the full AI lifecycle, this differs from Nvidia’s definition. Alice Recoque will also handle traditional HPC workloads like modeling and simulations. ®

Updated at 16.42 UTC to add:

Eviden has made contact following publication of this article to query its own claims of Alice Recoque operating at 12 megawatts. A spokesperson told us:

“This figure was part of a preliminary version and is not an exact science, rather an expectation that may vary depending on the production capacity.”

SC25 France will get its first exascale supercomputer — Europe’s second — when Atos subsidiary Eviden builds Alice…

[20
554,733,4308,86,56,54,55
0":"post-271280","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-artificial-intelligence","8":"tag-ai","9":"tag-artificial-intelligence","10":"tag-artificialintelligence","11":"tag-technology","12":"tag-uk","13":"tag-united-kingdom","14":"tag-unitedkingdom
["GET
