Terence Crawford<\/a> has established himself as a pound-for-pound legend and Amir Khan<\/a> has predicted how a fight between \u2018Bud\u2019 and Floyd Mayweather would have played out.<\/p>\n

Khan chased a showdown with Floyd Mayweather throughout his professional career but to no avail, although he did share the ring with Crawford back in 2019, where he lost via sixth-round stoppage<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Bolton fan-favourite would then later head to the same gym as \u2018Bud\u2019, as he partnered up with trainer Brian \u2018BoMac\u2019 McIntyre in late 2021, ahead of a long-awaited clash with Kell Brook the following year.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Seconds Out<\/a>, Khan recalled the times he used to watch Crawford train, in awe of his talents, before going on to reveal his belief that the Omaha-born sensation would have been able to put an end to Mayweather\u2019s legendary 50-fight undefeated record.<\/p>\n

\u201cI used to sit there and just watch him train when I was at the gym with him. I used to see the way he moved, like water, so fluid, so calm and relaxed but still getting in the work.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I used to see him spar, I was like, \u2018wow, this guy is special\u2019. The only fight that I would\u2019ve want to see him in was [against] Floyd Mayweather.<\/p>\n

\u201cHim [Crawford] and Floyd Mayweather \u2013 what a fight that would have been. I would have Crawford beating Mayweather, honestly speaking. Crawford\u2019s IQ is just something else.\u201d<\/p>\n

This year, \u2018Bud\u2019 became the first three-division undisputed champion of the four-belt era by dethroning super-middleweight icon Canelo Alvarez<\/a>.<\/p>\n
