\n Gordon Maudsley, 49, has launched an organic food supplements business after years of health struggles that left him bedridden and unable to work.\n<\/p>\n
\n The father-of-one, who once played football and went to the gym three times a week, saw his life change dramatically in 2017 after contracting glandular fever.\n<\/p>\n

\n He said: “My health collapsed when I caught glandular fever.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Within two weeks, I lost 19lbs, and what followed was months of post-viral fatigue.\n<\/p>\n
\n “I was bedridden for a week and struggled to find the energy to complete even the easiest of tasks.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Every time I thought I was turning a corner, my body seemed to drag me back.”\n<\/p>\n
\n He eventually returned to work as a quantity surveyor, but the arrival of the Covid-19 pandemic brought further setbacks.\n<\/p>\n
\n Not only did he contract the virus, but he also suffered from Long Covid symptoms.\n<\/p>\n
\n Mr Maudsley said: “I can still remember waking up every morning feeling like I hadn\u2019t slept, wondering how long this would last.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Simple things like work, family time and even just getting through the day became overwhelming.\n<\/p>\n
\n “At that point I felt like I had hit rock bottom.”\n<\/p>\n
\n Searching for solutions, he found support through a personal coach who helped him develop a recovery plan focused on rest, gentle exercise, and nutrition.\n<\/p>\n
\n He said: “It wasn\u2019t quick or easy.\n<\/p>\n
\n “I listened to my body, rested when I needed to, introduced some gentle exercise and paid close attention to nutrition.\n<\/p>\n
\n “It was nutrition that turned out to be one of the key factors.”\n<\/p>\n
\n Struggling to find natural, affordable supplements, Mr Maudsley decided to create his own.\n<\/p>\n
\n This led to the launch of Just Good Stuff, an organic food supplements business.\n<\/p>\n
\n He said: “As I slowly rebuilt my health, I began to feel the difference when I found cleaner nutrition.\n<\/p>\n

\n “My energy returned, my immune system felt stronger, I was moving in the right direction.”\n<\/p>\n
\n The company now offers two products on its website: Immunity and Total Wellness, both vegan-friendly and free from gluten and soy.\n<\/p>\n
