Gwyneth Paltrow isn\u2019t holding a grudge against this A-list star who once slammed her in a 1998 Movieline interview.<\/a><\/p>\n

The 27-year rift <\/a>between the 53-year-old actress and Jennifer Lopez was reportedly put to rest for good at the Governors Ball on Nov. 16, according to the Daily Mail.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cThey are doing OK, they are friends,\u201d a source alleged to the outlet. \u201cThere is no frost, no bad vibes, they are good.\u201d<\/p>\n

The women, who were both linked<\/a> to Ben Affleck at some point during their lives, weren\u2019t feuding over their love lives; it was something more personal. When they were both rising stars, Lopez didn\u2019t have the nicest things to say about Paltrow in the shockingly candid interview.<\/p>\n

\u201cTell me what she\u2019s been in? I swear to God, I don\u2019t remember anything she was in. Some people get hot by association. I heard more about her and Brad Pitt than I ever heard about her work,\u201d Lopez said in 1998 to the now-defunct Movieline, claiming that Paltrow was better known for the men she dated than her Hollywood career.<\/p>\n

Paltrow proved Lopez wrong and went on to win an Oscar for Shakespeare in Love just one year later. She wasn\u2019t the only famous face criticized by Lopez in that interview. Madonna, Winona Ryder, Claire Danes, and Cameron Diaz also faced Lopez\u2019s wrath.<\/p>\n

She said of Diaz: \u201cA lucky model who\u2019s been given a lot of opportunities, I just wish she would have done more with. She\u2019s beautiful and has a great presence, though, and in My Best Friend\u2019s Wedding<\/a>, I thought, \u2018When directed, she can be good.’\u201d<\/p>\n

And of Ryder: \u201cI was never a big fan of hers. In Hollywood, she\u2019s revered, she gets nominated for Oscars, but I\u2019ve never heard anyone in the public or among my friends say, \u2018Oh, I love her.\u2019 She\u2019s cute and talented, though, and I\u2019d like her just for looking like my older sister, Leslie.\u201d<\/p>\n

The good news is that the past is the past, and Paltrow was rooting for Lopez<\/a> when she married Affleck in 2022. \u201cLove is in the air,\u201d she wrote under Lopez and Affleck\u2019s wedding post.<\/p>\n

Paltrow was never jealous of Lopez\u2019s on-again, off-again relationship with The Accountant 2 star \u2014\u00a0she seemed to know he was a difficult person to date after being with him from 1997 until 2000.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just think we have a very different sort of value system,\u201d Paltrow told<\/a> Diane Sawyer in 2003. \u201cBen makes life tough for himself. He\u2019s got a lot of complications, and you know, he really is a great guy. So I hope he sorts himself out.\u201d<\/p>\n

The one thing that has been sorted out is Lopez and Paltrow\u2019s friendship. Per the Daily Mail, they are friendly and will both be honored at The Hollywood Reporter\u2018s annual Women In Entertainment breakfast gala on Dec. 3 in Beverly Hills. It will be a full-circle moment for both of them.<\/p>\n
