Just a few years ago, a fight between Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua would have been inconceivable. However, that is no longer the case. <\/p>\n

Eddie Hearn has said that a potential fight between Joshua and Paul is a possibility<\/a>, as \u2018The Problem Child\u2019 is coming off a win over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.<\/a> <\/p>\n

Joshua<\/a> has not competed since his knockout loss to Daniel Dubois<\/a> in September 2024, and is supposedly returning in 2025. <\/p>\n

Although a fight between the internet star and the former heavyweight champion splits opinions in the boxing world, one hall of fame fighter has a clear stance on the matchup. <\/p>\n

Former multi-weight world champion Roy Jones Jr.<\/a> was asked for his take on a potential fight between Paul<\/a> and Joshua in an interview with TalkSport. <\/p>\n

Although some people may be apprehensive regarding a meeting between the pair, Jones Jr. was enthusiastic about a fight between Paul and Joshua. <\/p>\n

When asked if he thought the fight was good for boxing, Jones Jr. replied, \u201cI think it\u2019s great for boxing. I think the fight will happen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Adding to his statement, Jones Jr. referenced Joshua\u2019s fight with Francis Ngannou. \u201cAJ is 1-0 against these guys that come into their boxing careers late, so why not? He\u2019s a perfect guy to take him [Paul] out, too.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former Bernard Hopkins opponent Jones Jr.<\/a> then said he feels he can \u2018take out\u2019 Paul the same way he did Ngannou. <\/p>\n

Jones Jr. also said the fight is logical for Joshua from a financial standpoint, \u201cHe\u2019d probably make more money fighting Jake Paul than he will fighting anyone else right now.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Jake Paul feels that Anthony Joshua has a \u2018weak chin\u2019<\/p>\n

Although a fight between Paul and Joshua is not yet confirmed, this has not stopped the internet star from mentioning \u2018AJ\u2019 on multiple occasions. <\/p>\n

While in attendance at the fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois<\/a>, Paul spoke about Joshua in an interview with The Stomping Ground<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Paul said that he would \u2018love\u2019 to fight Joshua at Wembley Stadium, also envisioning a stoppage of the former world champion. <\/p>\n
